Most women's tailoring on the high street starts from a standard block and works inwards. It is why jackets so often pull across the bust, sit wrong at the shoulder, or fit at the waist and nowhere else.
Bespoke starts from a paper pattern drafted for your body - your shoulder slope, your posture, the length of your back. Nothing is approximated and nothing is compromised to make a standard shape work. The same cloths, the same canvassed construction and the same hand finishing as our men's tailoring, cut to a different set of rules because it is a different garment.
Trousers, a skirt or both come from that same pattern, so they work together as a wardrobe rather than as separate purchases. And because the pattern is kept, the next commission starts from something that already fits - whether that is black tie or a professional commission.

Three steps, cut from a pattern made for you rather than a menswear block scaled down. Your tailor comes to you.
Your tailor visits your home and works from your own measurements and posture - not a men's block taken in at the waist. Cloth, cut and detailing are settled together, and fourteen precise measurements are taken.
Around 90 minutesYour pattern is cut and the garment built by hand, with the shoulder, bust and waist shaped to you at every stage rather than approximated and altered afterwards.
Around 6-8 weeksYour tailor returns with the finished piece and checks it standing, seated and moving. Adjustments are made within days.
Adjustments includedOnce the pattern is drafted, the finishing choices are yours. Lapels, linings, buttons and the pieces you want the commission to include are all decided at the consultation.

Book a ConsultationYes. We cut women's suits, jackets, waistcoats, trousers and skirts from an individual pattern, using the same cloths, the same canvassed construction and the same hand finishing as our men's tailoring. It is not a men's block resized.
Women's tailoring starts from £680 for a two-piece and £790 for a three-piece. These are starting prices - the final cost depends on your cloth, lining and personalisation. We discuss it openly at your consultation, so there are no surprises.
Yes - or both. Trousers and a skirt cut from the same pattern in the same cloth work together as a wardrobe rather than as two separate purchases, and it is one of the more useful things bespoke lets you do.
Tell us when you book if you would prefer a particular arrangement, or if you would like a friend, partner or colleague present at the appointment. We will accommodate it, and it is a perfectly normal thing to ask for.
Most garments are completed and delivered within six to eight weeks of your first consultation. That includes the final fitting and any adjustments, which are made within days and redelivered.
Yes. We cut women's morning dress, tailcoats and dinner suits for weddings, for funeral directors and celebrants, for ceremonial and civic roles, and for black tie. If you have a specific requirement, bring it to the consultation - most things are possible.
No. Noble Fox is fully mobile - your tailor visits your home or office anywhere in the UK at a time that suits you, bringing cloth samples, pattern paper and measuring tools. There is no showroom visit at any point.
