Race Day Suits, Cut
For The Enclosure.

Royal Ascot, Aintree, Chester - each has its own dress code, and a hired suit fits nobody in particular. Your tailor comes to you with the cloth and delivers in six to eight weeks.

Your Race Day Suit

Made For The Day,
Measured For You.

Bespoke means the suit is cut for you from the start - your measurements, your cloth, your choice of cut. For a race day, that matters more than most occasions: you are outdoors for hours, on your feet, and in every photograph taken that afternoon.

Your tailor comes to your home, talks through the meeting you are dressing for - the course, the enclosure, the season, how formal the code runs - and builds the suit around those answers. Cloth, cut, lapel, lining, buttons: all of it is your decision, guided rather than dictated.

Six to eight weeks later it arrives, fitted at your home one last time before the first race. And because it was cut to your own pattern, it still fits properly season after season - not just on the day.

How Bespoke Tailoring Works

Three steps, finished before the meeting. Your tailor comes to you, and the suit is cut for a long day standing rather than a day at a desk.

I

The Consultation

Your tailor visits your home and works through cloth weight, cut and the enclosure you are dressing for, since Royal Ascot asks for more than a county meeting. Fourteen precise measurements are taken.

II

The Making

Your pattern is cut and the suit built by hand, in cloth chosen to hold its shape through a full card and whatever the weather does. Order six weeks before the meeting to be comfortable.

The Final Fitting

Your tailor returns with the finished suit and checks it against how you stand, walk and reach, then makes any adjustment before the day itself.

Cheltenham Festival

Four days in the cold, and the crowd dresses for it. Tweed and heavy flannel hold their shape where lighter cloth would drop - and a three-piece gives you a waistcoat layer that earns its place by the second race.
